The Mission: Nomad - a cutting-edge data technology company specialising in pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle counting - needed to communicate a highly technical product to a global audience in seconds. They needed a visual asset that could stop foot traffic at international trade shows and instantly convert web traffic at home.
The Result: A sleek, dynamic brand film that translates complex data-capture technology into a compelling visual story. Utilising bespoke 2D motion graphics and After Effects animation, the film instantly communicates the product's function and value. This piece became the first touchpoint for new global customers, anchoring their website homepage and playing on continuous loops at major industry trade shows across America and Europe.
The Execution: Turning complex tech into an engaging story takes work - but the client didn't have to lift a finger. I managed the end-to-end process: concepting the visual communication, storyboarding, animating, editing, and delivering the final high-fidelity file. Delivered on time and on budget, giving their international sales team an elite, done-for-you tool to close deals worldwide. To ensure frictionless entry into these new markets, I also fully localised the campaign by producing and integrating six bespoke versions, including Swedish, German, Spanish, French, and targeted regional English accents.

Common Questions About Motion Graphics
How long does motion graphics work take? Timelines vary enormously with scope. A simple lower-thirds package for a documentary can be turned around in days; a full animated explainer film with bespoke design and multiple language localisations might take 4–8 weeks.
Do I need to provide brand guidelines? Ideally, yes — brand guidelines, fonts, colour palettes and logo assets make for faster, more on-brand work. But if you don't have a developed brand identity yet, I can design a visual language from scratch as part of the project.
Can you localise into multiple languages? Yes. My motion graphics work for Nomad Counters was localised into six versions (English, Swedish, German, Spanish, French and regional English variants) for international trade-show deployment. I can build animations with localisation in mind from the start, so additional language versions are quick and inexpensive to produce later.
What software do you use? Primarily Adobe After Effects, with Illustrator for asset prep, and Premiere Pro for integration. I'm comfortable delivering in any broadcast-spec codec or web-spec format.
Can you work from existing graphics, or design from scratch? Both. If you have existing graphics that need animating or extending, I can work from your source files (Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma). If you're starting fresh, I'll design and animate the full package.
Do you do explainer videos and infographics? Yes — explainer animation, infographic motion, animated maps and timelines, product animation, and on-screen data visualisation are all part of my regular work, particularly for documentary and corporate productions.
