About the film
Melissa Hamilton is a Northern Irish ballet dancer who, after years at the highest tier of the company, is promoted to Principal — the most senior rank a Royal Ballet dancer can achieve. The documentary follows Melissa through the pressure, scrutiny and craft of a debut principal season, filming at The Royal Opera House in London and at her home in Northern Ireland.
