Motion Graphics Designer
Lloyd Edgar designed and animated the motion graphics for Book Week NI, a children's strand broadcast on BBC Northern Ireland.
Working from graphic design by Mark Thompson, I built the animation that brings the strand to life on screen — titles, transitions and character-led 2D animation pitched squarely at a young audience, where graphics have to hold attention rather than simply inform.
Mark's designs set the world; my job was to make it move.
It is, admittedly, a lighter brief than the true crime documentaries elsewhere on this site. It's also some of the most enjoyable work I do!
