ANDBC - Bangor City Campaign

The Mission: Bangor became a city, and that needed marking properly. The campaign had to make the place feel like one — not by claiming it, but by showing it.

The Execution: Place films fail when they turn into a list of landmarks. I approached this the way I'd approach a character: what does Bangor actually feel like to be in, and which handful of images carry that?

I directed and shot it, using aerials to give the seafront and the town the scale that city status implies, and keeping the ground-level material human enough that it doesn't read as a tourist board reel.

The Result: A campaign marking a genuine milestone for the borough, made directly for the council rather than through an agency.
